Referral is the Key

Referrals are a great way to make money fast. The majority of sites will offer either a one time sign up bonus of $1 or more per signup or a percentage of their earnings for example 20% or more. This does not mean you are cutting into their earnings - you are getting paid 20% extra of what they earn.

And to give you an idea of your earnings potential, lets say you refer 5 people and the GPT site pays you 25% of what they make. If those 5 people each make $20, that is an extra $25 in your pocket.

Now lets say you refer 100 people that each make $20.

100 x $20 x25% = $500

If you refer 100 people and they each earn $20, that is an extra $500 for you!! And that's not even including the first offer bonus money you make.

How to get Referrals

1) Join up to forums and place the link / banner in your signature.
There are now many large PTP discussion sites (such as GetPaidForum.com) which allow ref. links in your signature. You may be allowed to refer to them in certain situations, these are especially useful when posted in an 'Introduce Yourself' thread, where people who have just joined will be looking for good sites to join up with.

2) Tell your friends!
Be honest, email or IM your friends who you think may be interested. These are the best type of refs as they are sure to make money. Whereas spamming forums will often encourage bad referrals who will attempt to cheat and may get their account deleted.

3) Make a site
Once you have used ALOT of paid to sites, you may consider making a website. Here you can detail a log of your money making to help others, and to get yourself some more referrals - just as I have done. I would suggest you do not advertise sites that have not paid you yet, as they may be fraudulent. All sites listed on my website are personally approved by me.

4) Spamming... don't do it!
In my early 'GetPaidTo' days, I tried spamming torrent comments with a short description of the site and my referral link. This led to a fairly large influx of referrals. But in the following weeks, many had not earnt anything. It seems these were all one-time customers who weren't interested in amassing a fortune.

5) Find a Target Audience (and exploit it)
There are many areas of the internet where you will find people desperate for a long term income, these are often teenagers looking to pay for an Ebay addiction or a MMORPG. Key areas of interest are RUNESCAPE players, looking to pay for membership, Habbo Hotel, MapleStory and many more are all looking for a small amount of money to spend using their PayPal accounts. The best way to contact these people would be on Fansites - if allowed.

6) Flyers
Make flyers you can print out that have your referral link, tailored to your own preferences. You can pass out, lay around in appropriate places, and even ones with the tear-offs that you can post up on bulletin boards. Business cards also work, as you can hand them to acquaintances rather casually.
